1. Aansh Nandan Nerurkar (ELO 2236)

National Under-11 Champion, 2024, and winner of many accolades is the most promising of the lot.

2. Mukul Rane (ELO- 1486 )

3. Ameya Karandikar (ELO - 1972)

Winner of various school-level and state-level prizes, Ameya's final major success under Prasad sir’s tutelage came when he won the prestigious MSSA open category championship. He had a peak rating of 2000+.

4. Akshay Bhor (ELO - 1971)

Prasad sir took Akshay under his wing when he was five and half years old. He qualified for the national U-7 by coming second in Maharashtra state. Later he went on to win the Parle-G U-12 boys crown. He also had a peak rating of 2000+.

5. Utkarsh Gupta (ELO - 1648)

Was under Prasad sir’s tutelage for close to two years. He has won many prizes at the school-level in that period.

6. Sachin Kamath (ELO - 2082)

He along with Utkarsh Gupta and Trichi Chawla took joint sessions from Prasad sir for a couple of years and won numerous prizes and trophies.

7. Chakshu Dhannwat (ELO - 1731)

Chakshu came to Prasad sir when he was around 1200 elo points. In a short stint that lasted around 15th months, his rating shot to 1500+ points.

8. Rohnit Amin (ELO - 1821)

Rohnit was a part of the same group as Chakshu at mira road. He was around the same rating point mark as Chakshu. Even his rating shot up dramatically during that stint with Prasad sir.

9. Pranay Poojari (ELO - 1632)

Also, from the same Mira Road batch. He is a promising player and someone to watch out for.

10. Siddharth Kambli (ELO - 1549)

He has won numerous school-level prizes. On his day, he can surprise players of considerable strength.

11. Sakshi Rajpurkar (ELO - 1437)

Another member of the mira road group. Sakshi has quite-a-few good performances to her credit in the girl’s category.

12. Hemavati Kannan (ELO - 1451)

Another member of the mira road group, Hemavati has won a decent number of trophies and medals in school-level events.

13. Parth Moghe (ELO - 1601)

Parth started training with Prasad sir as a 9-year-old, and already a Rated Player (1119 Elo Points). His sharp tactical vision and the ability to find accurate moves in complicated positions, defies his age. He consistently has been among the top rankers in many tournaments. Underestimate him at your own peril!!

14. Sayali Ambre (ELO - 1423)

Another bright girl from Mira Road. She was under Prasad sir’s tutelage for close to a year and a half. Sayali has won almost a room-full of trophies in the girl’s category. This consistent prize winner has the ideal temperament required to become a very strong player. Her studious nature coupled with a huge appetite for hard work will -without doubt- take her a long, long way.

15. Anchit Mishra (ELO - 1638)

He is someone who has a lot of potential as far as competitive chess is concerned. A steady head and an extremely uncluttered thought process are his greatest strengths.

16. Viraj Purandare (ELO - 1538)

This exceptional talent from the Borivali branch has shown sporadic flashes of brilliance. If he becomes more consistent, he will definitely race ahead of the pack.
