Meet FIDE Instructor (FI) Prasad Deshmukh, a renowned chess coach and founder of the a1 Institute of Chess. With a coaching career spanning over three decades, Prasad has trained nearly 2000 students, guiding some to achieve an impressive 2000+ Elo rating.

A certified and licensed coach by the World Chess Federation (FIDE), some of his credentials include:

- International Rated chess player (Peak 2095)

- National Arbiter title (1996) by the All India Chess Federation

- Bombay University Chess Champion (1994)

- University team Captain (1995)

- FIDE Instructor title (2008) awarded by the World Chess Federation

Meet IA. NI. Preeti Deshmukh, CEO of a1 Institute of Chess, a multifaceted chess personality with a passion for coaching. As an International Arbiter (IA), FIDE National Instructor (NI), and internationally rated player, Preeti brings a wealth of expertise to the table.

Her achievements include:

- Former Bombay University Chess Champion (Girls')

- Experienced chess coach (since 2000)

- Proven track record of students' success in various tournaments

What sets Preeti apart is her dedication to chess coaching, prioritizing it over a lucrative career in finance (Masters in Financial Management). Her love for teaching and engaging young children is evident in her lively and interactive coaching style.
