Tournament Chess Prep: Building Foundational Skills

This course is designed to arm students with the essential skills required to succeed in competitive chess. Our focus is on developing:

1. Basic counting and trading methods: Understanding material balance and exchange strategies.

2. Tactical tricks and techniques: Mastering pins, forks, skewers, and other tactical motifs.

At the end of this course, students will be equipped with the fundamental firepower to tackle the demands of tournament chess. Only then will they be ready to take the leap into competitive play, braced with the skills and confidence to succeed.

This course provides a solid foundation for future success, ensuring students are well-prepared to face the challenges of tournament chess.
